Snigdha Verma
Founding CEO
Ms. Snigdha Verma graduated with an MSc. in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University, US, in 2010. She started her career with The World Bank, International Finance Corporation, and Global Environment Facility in Washington, DC, building skills in policy evaluation and design, leading to a number of publications (World Bank 2012). After nearly a decade in the United States, she moved to rural India to work at the frontline of public policy implementation at Barefoot College in Tilonia Rajasthan and Saksham in Shivgarh Uttar Pradesh, gaining enriching life experiences like caring overnight for a mentally challenged rape victim in childbirth and coordinating the safe transport of Assam tea plantation workers during COVID-19. To contribute at scale within public systems, she joined as the Head of Department at EESL/CESL, a leading Public Sector Undertaking, creating internationally registered carbon assets for public electric mobility and rural LED projects, thereby reducing dependency on subsidies. The role also provided deep exposure to the public institutional pillars such as public procurement, parliamentary processes, and vigilance oversight. In 2025, Snigdha launched this DPIIT-recognized start up that has grown rapidly as an award-winning public policy venture specializing in climate and health innovation. Snigdha regularly speaks at global panels such as Tufts University - Energy Conference Boston, Carbon Forward Middle East, UN CSW, and IETA Climate Summits, World Health Innovation Summit (WHIS), UK. She has published articles for PLoS ONE with Monash University, Melbourne, Australia (PLoS ONE, 2018) and online platforms like CarbonCopy, and received coverage from international platforms like CFME26: Startup selling Indian public-sector projects to carbon investors « Carbon Pulse and Times of India - Delhi Times (December 2025). Snigdha was honoured with the “Distinguished Leadership Award” by the Times of India Foundation in 2026 and the Woman in Power Award by India Smart Grid Forum in 2024. Snigdha is also a professional practitioner of Odissi classical dance

As a young leader, Shambhavi brings creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for technology towards building a meaningful initiative. She's enrolled in an exchange program in Singapore this summer and actively participates in the start-up ecosystem as a young woman tech-preneur.
